New digester agitator for Borås Energi och Miljö
Stamo has delivered a new digester agitator to Sobacken Borås Energi och Miljö. The purpose is homogenisation and prevention of bottom sedimentation of food waste substrate in the digester. The tank volume is 3400m3.

Stamo agitators mixes liquid for SARS-CoV-2 tests
In Oktober, Stamo delivered two agitators to Cepheid, which manufactures tests for the ongoing corona virus SARS-Cov-2. The purpose of the agitators is to mix, pulverize powder lumps and prevent bottom sedimentation of the combination guanidinum and water.
Digester agitators to three different projects in Turkey
During the summer of 2020 Stamo delivered digester agitators to three different projects in Turkey. The volume of the tanks varied between 7000 – 9500m3. At the end of August, two employees from Stamo was at site for supervision during the installations for all projects.
Stamo delivers 19 agitators to Northvolt in Västerås, Sweden
At the beginning of August, the first of 19 agitators were delivered to Northvolt in Västerås, Sweden. Northvolt produces, among other things, lithium-ion batteries for electric vehicles through a recycling process. The agitators aims to mix and prevent bottom sedimentation of strong sulphuric acid and different minerals from used batteries.
